Question by : Do people actually wear the dresses nad clothes we see on fashion shows?
I saw some fashion shows and it seems that everything looks so uncomfortable, has bits and pieces sprouting from everywere, weird colors and shapes.

I wondered; Are these show-only clothings or are there people who actually wear them?

People who can afford them wear them. Seems slightly crazy, huh? I don’t see how people walk around in all that clothing, but they do.

Somebody beat me to saying it…but yes Lady Gaga is famous for doing that.

Clothes in fashion shows are worn by some really well off people who can afford to buy them. Designers will also loan or give clothes to famous people to wear so the designer gets publicity. The designers also make loads of money from their accessory lines and fragrance lines and what-have-you so benefit from the publicity that their more outlandish catwalk clothing generates.
