For new, HMV and Game,both chains have numerous branches in Central London. HMV in Coventry Street, Piccadilly Circus nearest Tube, always seems to have what I want at a good price.

For used, Computer Exchange, have two branches close to each other, chances are one of them will have whatever you are looking for. Tottenham Court Road tube is nearest.
